Video Tip of the Week

“Wait till you see the whites of their eyes.”

That’s a famous quote from history, but has an entirely different meaning in your videos.

If you’re capturing yourself on video, feel free to put the camera up close, so your face occupies the entire screen.

When you think about it, while having a conversation with someone you have an existing relationship with, you tend to be a bit closer (not so close like Jerry Seinfeld’s close-talker)… but you know what I mean.

The person you’re talking to can see all your features up close.

You’ve been doing this your whole life.

Do it on camera, and get a load of the responses you get to your videos.

The viewer will naturally feel a more rapid connection with you than if you were seemingly off at a distance.

It’s when the camera is up close that you get a real sense of a character in a film.

Same goes for your shoots.

And just get over how “not perfect” you are. — Just get over it.

Give yourself some lovin’… with kind eyes…  as you see yourself on camera.

You’re worth it.
