What do you say we have a mini-marketing biz bootcamp, right here – right now.
Lesson 1 – If your message is about You (and your company) you’re missing the point.

Lesson 2 – If you lead with a pitch, they’ll walk on you. If you lead with a connection, they’ll listen.

Lesson 3 – If your sole interest is in You (and not in them)… they have radar to pick that up. (we all do)

Lesson 4 – Are you using copywriting headlines in Twitter? Yes? How’s that working for you?

Lesson 5 – How many touches does it take to make a sale? Hint: Who cares! Make it with integrity for you And your customer.

Lesson 6 – Triggers. You know what they are right? Abuse them, and like that pitch… they’ll walk.

Lesson 7 – Are you taking notes here?

Lesson 7 (cont’d) – It’s ok to use humor. Some tight-ass said you shouldn’t. Screw ’em.

Lesson 8 – When they show interest… Tackle them! (and see how that works for you).  🙂

Lesson 9 – When you increase their Desire. Know you’ve got ’em. Tackle ’em again! (and see how THAT works).

Lesson 10 – I’m just making this up, don’t bother listening to me. What do I know. 😉
