When filming yourself on camera, stand (or sit) just left of center… or just right of center.
You can even choose something in your background that can be included in the shot. It creates a more aesthetically pleasing image in the frame.
There are technical reasons for doing so, but we won’t get into that here.
Just keep it simple.
Besides, when used for business purposes, and if you edit your video with key points or images, you can present them to your left (or right). Similar to the way you see done on newscasts.
