Guest: Kisane Slaney – Attraction Marketing for Baby Boomers
One often thinks in terms of one (maybe two) careers in a lifetime.
Kisane had her first major career as a top photographic model in Sydney, Australia for 10 years. It was during the late 60s & 70s when there were many changes happening – for example, the arrival of the mini-skirt!
She retired from modelling & took on her second career as a ‘full-time mum’ for 15 years to four children (inlcuding twins). When the youngest went to pre-school, Kisane took herself off to University, and began couselling while studying for her PhD.
After receiving her PhD, she was invited to become a Senior Lecturer at a University in Perth and taught counselling to Masters students within the Social Work Department.
Dr. Kisane retired from that career in January 2009.
Since then she’s been building her fourth career as an online Attraction Marketer. She says ” There are two things that have really stood out for me since I’ve commenced this new career. The first is that I’m able to utilise so many of the skills that I’ve developed over the years in my previous careers. Secondly, just how much fun this new career is, meeting people online from all over the world!”
